It is also the basis of the study of Philosophy, Politics, Economics and even arts and religion. No wonder, it is considered an indispensible subject in the complete education.

The objectives of the papers prescribed for the UG level is to provide basic knowledge of the Political and Historical events as well as socio-cultural, religious and economic developments in regional, national and international level right from the earliest period to the modern period.
