Important Note:


1.The fees are subject to change as per the notification issued by the Government and the University from time to time.
2.For getting refund of caution money, the receipt must be produced. Hence, the money receipts are to be retained/preserved carefully.
3.No fee will be refunded nor will any certificate be issued unless liability (financial/material) to the college is cleared by the student concerned.

B.A I year : Semester System



Compulsory English and any three of the following subjects as elective:

(Note: Hindi and Elective English combination is not allowed. Change of subject combination after the admission is not permitted)


BA II & III (Annual System):



BA II Year (Pass Course):
 
Compulsory English paper II & III and any two elective subjects offered in BA I Year.
BA II Year (Hons Course):
 
Compulsory English paper II & III, Hons subject and any one of the two remaining elective subjects offered in BA I Year.
BA III Year (Pass Course): Paper III & IV of two elective subjects offered in BA II Year.
BA III Year (Honours Course):
 
5 papers of Honours subject (Paper V-IX) and paper III & IV of elective subjects offered in BA II Year.

Semester System


            In Semester System, there shall be 20% marks for internal assessments/sessional tests and 80% marks for end semester examinations in each paper during every semester (as indicated below). Internal Tests are mandatory for qualifying to appear semester examinations. There shall be three internal assessments/tests for each paper and the average best of two shall be taken into account for university examinations.

NOTE :
1. English compulsory paper i.e. BENG-101(C) shall be compulsory paper for B.A/B.Sc./B.Com (First Semester) whereas English compulsory paper BENG-202(C) shall be only for BA Students (Second Semester).
2. There will be four papers in each semester. The candidate will select one of the elective subjects studied up to fourth semester as major subject and have four papers each in fifth and sixth semesters. The BUGS can also have two/three groups of special optional papers which can be taught in the last two semesters.
3. The paper code and number will be starting with B (for BA) and first 3 letters of the subject. For example History: BHIS; Political Science: BPOL; Economics: BECO; English: BENG; Education: BEDU; Hindi: BHIN; Sociology: BSOC; Mass Communication: BMAS; Geography: BGEO, etc. The numbering of optional papers in fifth semester will start from 521 onward and that of sixth semester from 621 onward.
